Just open the app and go back to it as needed to "Keep Everyone Posted". The app supports Twitter hashtags (#) & users (@) so you can group Tweets by hashtag on your search results within Twitter or send a tweet directly to a user. You can also add your location to your Tweets if you desire.

Facebook integration allows you to post to your wall a score update, so all your friends can keep up to date on the latest score of that special event.
